Clever-Frame technology is the universal foundation for every Mahon, the next generation can-do-anything bike. The Mahon Trip Core also benefits from this highly maintenance-friendly frame and the many possibilities to easily replace, upgrade, or add technical components. The complete Clever Rack is part of the standard equipment.

The foundation for the Mahon Trip Core is a lightweight aluminum frame with a comfort-dynamic geometry and many mounting points for luggage and accessories on the frame and the newly developed Clever Rack with MIK compatibility. The drive uses the Shimano CUES U400 with 2x9 gears. The suspension fork has a generous 75mm of travel, while the new 42 mm wide tires also contribute to more traction and comfort.

The most durable part of a bike is the frame. You can later change and upgrade any component. If you want to start affordably, with the Mahon Trip Core, you get a versatile, multifunctional frame with a solid basic equipment.

- The fork allows for the individual use of very large tires up to 29"x2.0" and very wide tires up to 27.5"x2.6". From the factory, the new Bontrager Girona with a width of 42 mm are installed.
